CRAIL said there is no reason to revoke the license from the Russian bookmaker 1xBet

The Gambling Regulatory Commission found no reason to revoke the 1xBet betting license.

The press service of the Ukrainian gambling regulator has published a statement about the possibility of further presence of 1xBet in the local iGaming market.

CRAIL started checking the accuracy of the information in the documents submitted by TBC LLC for obtaining a license. A few months later, Ukrainian media began publishing articles exposing the alleged Russian ownership of the new licensee.

The regulator made an official statement on this matter: «As of today, CRAIL has not received a single supporting document from the competent state authorities regarding the existence of ties between TBC LLC and the owners of the 1XBET brand with the aggressor state.»

Revocation of a license without proper verification is a violation of the law by CRAIl.

The betting company 1xBet was suspected of having links with the Russian Federation at the very beginning of the scandal. Forbes magazine found out that the license was issued to a registered Cypriot company Navasard Limited, owned by Russians Roman Semiokhin, Sergey Karshkov and Dmitry Kazorin.
