Nominees for SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2022

SBC has announced the shortlisted nominees for the SBC Awards Latinoamérica 2022 ceremony, taking place as part of SBC Summit Latinoamérica at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hollywood, Florida, on November 3.

BetConstruct leads the way with seven nominations, Betsson Group follows with six, while Sportradar, SOFTSWISS, GoldenRace and Codere also feature prominently on the shortlists with five nominations each.

The winners of all 26 categories will be selected by an independent jury. Mexican sports journalist Inés Sainz will be the celebrity host of the ceremony.

Rush Street Interactive will hope to maintain the Sportsbook Operator of the Year title and outperform the previous year’s winner Codere in the prestigious Casino Operator of the Year category.

Moreover, last year’s silver winners Betcris (Sportsbook Operator of the Year) and Betsson Group (Casino Operator of the Year) will once again try their luck, with the latter contending for both titles.

Among the supplier categories, the shortlist for the Casino Supplier of the Year, features some of the industry’s top studios: Amusnet Interactive, Aristocrat Gaming, BetConstruct, BetGames.TV, Betsoft Gaming, EvenBet Gaming, Evolution, Ezugi, FBMDS, Neko Games, Pragmatic Play, Vibra Gaming and Wazdan.

The equivalent Sportsbook Supplier of the Year category counts nine contenders, including Altenar, Betby, BetConstruct, BtoBet, Digitain, Jazz Gaming Solutions, LSports, Sportingtech and Sportradar Group.

Unlike last year’s inaugural Awards ceremony, where there was no differentiation between sports and casino affiliates, this year, there will be two affiliate prizes up for grabs.

Eight companies, including CentralAMS, GeoComply, GLI, IDnow, Jumio, Pretty Technical, TruNarrative and Veriff, will battle it out for the Compliance Partner/Supplier of the Year title.

The Payment Solution & Innovation of the Year winner will be decided among AstroPay, Monnet, Nuvei, Pay4Fun, Paysafe Group, and WorldPay from FIS.

SoftSwiss might be going home with two rising star supplier awards as the company is competing for the title in both Rising Star in Casino and Rising Star in Sports Betting categories.

Finally, the Industry Innovation of the Year category saw Delasport, Evolution, Evoplay, GoldenRace, InnProject, Jazz Gaming Solutions, Pipol Hub, Pragmatic Play, SoftSwiss, Stats Perform, Vibra Gaming, and Wazdan making it onto the shortlists.
