Sportsbook Olimpbet received a license in Kyrgyzstan

The Olimpbet betting company has received a license from the State Financial Supervision Authority of the Kyrgyz Republic for the right to conduct gambling activities, the Kabar news agency reports.

The legal entity of the national long-distance communication operator is Olimpbet Limited Liability Company, headed by Emil Kutmanov. Prior to that, he was the president of the Fans’ Union of Kyrgyzstan and the commercial director of the Football Union of Kyrgyzstan. The founder of the legal entity is Evgeny Pozdnyakov.

Betting operator Olimpbet became the second operator to receive a license to conduct gambling activities in Kyrgyzstan. According to Kaktus Media, the first licensed operator in the Kyrgyz market is the 1xBet brand, which is being developed by the Kazakh company Sports Entertainment.

The requirements for gambling establishments in Kyrgyzstan prohibit citizens of the country from participating in gambling.

Clients can only be foreigners over 21 years old. Such rules are stipulated by the gambling law adopted in Kyrgyzstan this summer. Olimpbet is also based in neighboring Kazakhstan and the operator is one of the largest taxpayers among bookmakers.
