Armenia. Minister of Economy, Vahan Kerobyan, made a statement on a recent government initiative to restrict gambling advertising in the country.
«We understand that limiting advertising to sweepstakes causes a lot of damage to the media, but, nevertheless, a balanced decision was made. I do not think that investment attractiveness in the field of gambling is an important topic», — noted the official.
Kazakhstan. Minister of Culture and Sports, Askhat Oralov, approved the new rules for accepting, recording and storing of the information on accepted bets, odds, winnings and payouts on bets. According to the local media, the order provides for bookmakers and sweepstakes operators to connect to the Center for Accounting of Bets (Betting Center) and organize the acceptance of bets only through the cash desks connected to it.
