Regulations

Armenia. Minister of Economy, Vahan Kerobyan, made a statement on a recent government initiative to restrict gambling advertising in the country. 

«We understand that limiting advertising to sweepstakes causes a lot of damage to the media, but, nevertheless, a balanced decision was made. I do not think that investment attractiveness in the field of gambling is an important topic», — noted the official.

Kazakhstan. Minister of Culture and Sports, Askhat Oralovapproved the new rules for accepting, recording and storing of the information on accepted bets, odds, winnings and payouts on bets. According to the local media, the order provides for bookmakers and sweepstakes operators to connect to the Center for Accounting of Bets (Betting Center) and organize the acceptance of bets only through the cash desks connected to it.

Product Launches

Digitain launched a new payment product called Paydrom to make online transactions faster, safer and more convenient. Payment gateways offer over 400 payment methods worldwide, including localized methods such as e-wallets and cryptocurrencies.

Podcast Reviews

Šarūnas Mazalas, Chairman of the Hybrid Sports League which runs Twain Sport, in a recent podcast with SBC, talked about their recently launched products — T-Basket and T-Kick — designed to capture players’ attention during off-peak hours, to bring more excitement and engage audience at times when there are not enough of traditional sports are being broadcasted. 

New Partnerships

SmartSoft announced their new partnership agreement with Betflag, an Italian operator. The agreement is made to allow players to have an unrivaled gaming experience and further cement both companies’ commitment to top-notch casino gaming.

LiveScore Group’s CEO reported a £50 million investment from Ringier that the company received last year helping the group to expand its business, especially in Eastern Europe. With plans to enter the market in multiple regions in 2023/24, LiveScore is very fortunate to have entered into a strategic partnership with Ringier. They are confident that the partnership between the two companies will lead to great success.
