The world football governing body FIFA has chosen the Middle Eastern country of Saudi Arabia to host the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup, which will take place from 12 to 22 December of this year.
The decision was taken unanimously by the FIFA Council following Real Madrid’s victory over Saudi Al-Hilal in the final of the 2022 tournament in the United Arab Emirates.
